How the concealer shade finder works
Detection uses Google's MediaPipe Face Landmarker, running on your device.
- 1
Upload a selfie
Use a clear, front-facing photo or your camera. Face the lens straight on in even light.
- 2
Landmarks are measured
Skin is sampled across your face, then your under-eye area is compared with your cheeks.
- 3
Get your result
Get an under-eye shade, a spot-concealer match and a color corrector if you need one.
Concealer vs color corrector
Concealer for under-eyes should be about one shade lighter than your foundation; for blemishes it should match exactly, or it draws attention.
Color correctors cancel tints first: peach or orange for blue-purple dark circles, yellow for redness. Apply a thin layer, then concealer on top.
Concealer shade guide by concern
Dark circles come in different colors. Blue or purple shadows show through thin skin and need a peach, apricot or orange corrector depending on skin depth. Brown pigmentation needs a salmon or orange tone. Redness around the nose and blemishes needs a yellow or green corrector.
After correcting, apply concealer only where it's needed. For brightening under the eyes, choose a shade about one step lighter than your foundation. For spots and scars, match your skin exactly; a lighter shade on a blemish makes it stand out.
Texture matters as much as color. Creamy, hydrating formulas suit the delicate under-eye area, while thicker, matte formulas hold better on blemishes. Set lightly with powder so it doesn't crease or slide.
Concealer shade finder FAQ

Yes. No sign-up, no watermark and no usage limits. The analysis runs in your browser.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Detection runs locally with Google's MediaPipe model, so your photo never leaves your device.
What photo works best?
A straight-on photo at eye level, from arm's length or further, in soft daylight. Pull hair off your face, remove glasses and keep a neutral expression.
Should concealer match my foundation?
For blemishes, yes. For under-eyes, go about one shade lighter with the same undertone.
Do I always need a corrector?
Only if your under-eyes are noticeably darker or tinted. The tool tells you when you don't.
